In my opinion my role as a nutritionist is to inspire and empower my clients, so that their personal wellness journey is one that is enjoyed! The personalised plans that I develop are designed to optimise compliance, which is often one of the biggest barriers when embarking on your journey with a therapist.

 

There is definitely not one size fits all when it comes to treatment. You are unique, your body and biochemistry are both unique, therefore your nutrition should be too!

Initial consultation

This is where the real work begins! Allowing 75-90 minutes for an initial consultation means we have time to discuss your personal case and pathology history in detail, formulating a practical and personalised, evidence-based and comprehensive Treatment Plan.

 

During the consultation, I will conduct a:

Complete review of your biological systems

Dietary analysis

Lifestyle evaluation

Mini naturopathic health check

Gathering information throughout your consultation allows me to create a holistic overview of your case, and ascertain the potential root causes of your symptoms. It also ensures that your individualised Treatment Plan is formulated based on your specific and personal health goals alongside your dietary and nutrient requirements.

 

Nutritional supplementation may be recommended and included as a means to fill gaps in any nutritional deficiencies or to address toxicities.

 

Further investigation by way of pathology testing via your GP or functional medicine pathology testing which I can arrange, may be recommended.

Follow-up consultation

During your follow-up appointment, we review your case and assess your progress. We trouble-shoot any areas that may need tweaking or adjusting to ensure that you are on track. I continue providing you with the knowledge and the tools you need work effectively towards your short- and long-term health goals.

 

Education surrounding the next steps, along with a revised Treatment Plan can also be expected from a follow-up consultation. I provide you with the support you require from your nutritionist throughout your journey, and the opportunity to promote and achieve accountability.

 

It is recommended to book 2-3 follow up appointments per month. This can vary from person to person, depending on your personal goals and Treatment Plan.

A follow-up check-in appointment allows you sufficient time to address any small concerns, discuss perhaps 1 or 2 amendments to your Treatment Plan, or to voice or clarify any queries you may have, without delving deeply into a 45 minute consultation.

 

If you are time-poor or looking for a more affordable way to hold yourself accountable and stay focused on your goals and Treatment Plan, this is perfect for you!

Comprehensive 7 day meal plan

If you struggle with cooking and meal planning inspiration, or you are time-poor/overwhelmed, craving more variety, or simply want something more rigid to follow to support you in changing your habits surrounding food, then look no further!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner recommendations (and recipes/links where required)

Daily water intake recommendation

I see a kitchen/pantry reset like a detox! It is an excellent way to help you work towards achieving your health goals, as it provides you with the opportunity to clean out your fridge and pantry of any foods that don’t serve you.

 

During a home visit, I can provide you with ways to re-stock your fridge/pantry with nutrient-dense staples and fresh foods, help to remove or rearrange any temptations, and categorise and label containers to help maximise use!

 

If you have any queries about cooking implements/utensils, or placement of particular foods for ease of access and less stress when preparing food, these are all areas that I cover in this consultation!

Healthy weekly grocery shop

Healthy eating starts with healthy shopping! Navigating a supermarket can be tricky when you are stuck in old habits, when you find yourself always shopping when hungry, or when you find nutritional panels difficult to decipher!

 

Even if you are aware of what a healthy diet involves, specific nutrients and their daily requirements are not as well-known.

 

Why not come shopping with me!

 

I will spend up to half a day with you, visiting your local fruit/vegetable market, identifying seasonal produce, along with your local supermarket for the staples, butcher for quality protein, and local fishmonger for fresh, responsibly sourced and affordable seafood produce.
