About Me

My own personal health journey coupled with tragically losing both my beloved mother and father to chronic disease unveiled for me a strong desire to learn more, and to be able to understand the link between our individual biology, our health, and chronic disease.

The ancient Greek physician Hippocrates’ quote “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” stands to reason to this day still, backed up by the overwhelming evidence surrounding the healing power of food.

My Ethos

Working from a judgement-free, friendly and holistic space, I ensure to always be delivering expert dietary advice that is scientific and evidence-based, and tailoring individualised treatment plans that promote health and vitality, meeting you where you are at on your journey.

For me, it is critical to treat the client holistically, taking into consideration psychological, physiological, spiritual and cultural aspects, and not just focussing on the disease or diagnosis. If I recommend supplementation, this is as a means to address and remove deficiencies and/or toxicities. I also work with functional medicine laboratory testing to eliminate any guess work and identify the root cause of your condition.

My Beliefs

I believe the key to implementing change is about identifying where you are in your own cycle of change and providing you with tools for changes that are manageable and sustainable. As the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, but the second best time is now!

I believe my role as a nutritionist is to inspire and empower my clients, so that their personal wellness journey is one that is enjoyed! The personalised plans that I develop are designed to optimise compliance, which is often one of the biggest barriers when embarking on your journey with a therapist.

"There is definitely not one size fits all when it comes to treatment. You are unique, your body and biochemistry are both unique, therefore your nutrition should be too!" - Megan Jones
